Did you know that 1 in every 5 home (20%) buyers in a given year has served in the military?
Roughly 3% of the home buying market is Active Duty who have unique home buying and selling needs related to their timelines. Many buy homes without ever even seeing them! About 17% of home buyers are Veterans who have their own unique needs, such as the impact of their disability rating on their loan and their property taxes. Many of both groups don’t know they have VA loan benefits, and many don’t know they can use it multiple times, and even use it as a wealth-building strategy! The Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification is for real estate professionals who want to work with current and former military service members. The MRP certification program educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. service members and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support. I have partnered with some amazing lenders, financial planners, estate/trust attorneys and insurance professionals to conduct educational seminars. These seminars will cover the 1,2,3s and ABCs of military home buying for Active Duty, transitioning military, Guard, Reserve, military veterans and family members.
