A Beacon of Hope in the Darkness of Poverty
Lazarus House provides what is needed most by families and individuals facing material poverty, homelessness, and food insecurity in the areas of Shelter, Clothing, Food, Advocacy and Community Resources. These core Ministries work simultaneously to provide emergency care, holistic programming, hope for a good future, and life skills to gain independence and sustain self-sufficiency.
Being involved with Lazarus House Ministries (LHM) has been a life changing opportunity for myself and my family. We have been privileged to work with the amazing staff in all areas of service for the LHM Guests. One day spent volunteering at Lazarus House with our KW office sponsored RED Day, has grown into hours spent preparing meals, project managing the Family Shelter re-structure at onset of COVID 19, Interior Design at the newly opened Food Pantry and providing strategic support to the Facilities and Development Committees. We are passionate about giving generously of our time, talent, and treasure in our community and are grateful to Lazarus House for their work to serve others.
